The Samsung Fridge Advantage
Refrigerators are commonly called fridges, but since they also have a built-in freezer inside located either on the top or bottom or side area, they are also often called fridge freezers. All refrigerators have one main function, and that is to preserve our food and drinks. What do we usually look for when we buy a refrigerator? Do we go for its design, color, size or price? Just like any other appliances, when we buy one we usually go for the brand, right? Samsung would be an excellent choice, then.
Samsung Electronics is the biggest electronics company in the world which manufactures high tech cell phones, cameras, TV’s and refrigerators. Samsung refrigerators or Samsung fridge freezers are distinguished not only for their elegance, style and large storage capacity, but also for their advanced cooling technologies. For the cost of these stylish kitchen appliances, it varies depending on types. Samsung’s standard fridge price is remarkably reasonable because of its excellent features and innovations.
Great Features of Samsung Refrigerators
1. Cooling System. This system cools the freezer and fridge independently which maintains the high- humidity level, making the fridge moist and the freezer dry at all times.
2. Power Freeze and Power Cool Options. You have an option to either fast freeze or fast chill your food at any given time.
3. Multi Flow Technology. This technology allows stable temperature of the fridge even during frequent opening of the refrigerator door. It also allows the cold air to circulate evenly throughout the refrigerator.

5. LCD Touch screen. This feature controls the refrigerator temperature, monitors the Samsung fridge filter and gives access to calendars, unit conversion and nutritional information of food items inside the fridge.

Negative Feedbacks on Samsung Refrigerators
Samsung refrigerators may be popular because of their remarkable features and cutting-edge technology systems, but customer complaints are inevitable. Samsung occasionally receives a lot of complaints such as the malfunction of the refrigerators, the presence of loud noises coming out from the fridge, inaccurate temperature and broken ice maker, among others. Some of the Samsung fridge freezer problems are not just inherent but also recurrent. Not only that, finding Samsung parts, if in case there is a need to replace any, is quite difficult.
There was even an alarming incident that happened in Korea last 2009 wherein there had been a massive recall of Samsung fridges because of an alleged explosion. According to reports, the defective defrost system caused the explosion. The said recall included models from the SRT, SRS and SRN series, which were manufactured between March 2005 and June 2006. Samsung also included those refrigerators with similar defrost system although they were not manufactured during the period. Samsung had repaired more than 400,000 fridges in Korea and Europe. They also installed a safety device to prevent overheating of the fridge.
Just like any other brands of refrigerators or appliances, Samsung fridges have their strong and weak points. As long as the main goal is for continuous improvement and modernization of the fridges, all problems can be resolved. In the end, it’s really up to you, the user, if Samsung fridges suit your storage needs. A similar fridge is the hotpoint refrigerator, if you want more options then it may also be worth checking out.
